At eleven, Ethan's love of the bass guitar was ignited.  Propelled by his fascination with funk, rock, jazz, and pop music, Ethan has spent 15 years honing his skills as a bass player and excelling in advanced playing techniques, sight-reading, performing abilities, and genre versatility.

 

He has been performing on-stage for over a decade with numerous bands, from a 'functions' set to a jazz orchestra.  In 2020, he was awarded a First Class in his BA(Hons) degree in Popular Music Performance and Production at Solent University.

 

Between 2021-2023, he was hired as a bassist for a 90s tribute named The Britpop Band.  With them, he has performed at popular events, such as the Dorchester Cider Festival, Poole Sea Festival, and has even supported the one and only, Chesney Hawkes.

 

Ethan currently plays bass and is co-vocalist with a heavy rock/pop originals band called NAEMA.  They are releasing new songs on various popular music platforms, and have a lineup of shows that will take them into the new year.  He is also a trusted session bassist for Pure Entertainment and has played numerous tribute/party gigs through them for nearly 3 years.

 

Ethan has gained valuable experience and performed in multiple festivals including Call of the Wild (Lincolnshire), RagCity2 (Fordingbridge), Sea-Fest (Poole Quay), and many others.  His proudest moment was performing at the 2023 Undercover Tribute festival in Warsaw, Poland - televised with an estimated 3 million viewers!
